design phase

estos ultimos dias hemos comenzado la fase de diseno de nuestro proyecto. Falta todavia pero vamos a buen paso para terminar con tiempo la presentacion y el reporte de progreso

Project Proposal Final Version

Today all the members have finished working with the assigned part of the proposal. We used the appendix as professor  J. Fernando Vega had proposed. And now we are putting everything together in order to check that everyone did the work and it has no grammatical errors.  

February 10

Today we kept working on making the necessary changes to our parts of the proposal. This changes were proposed by d. Fernando Vega in our initial proposal draft. Many of the other changes were explained in a meeting with him last Wednesday in which the use of an appendix could greatly help in detailing some of the parts. We should all finish our parts for tomorrow to properly join them in a document with all the necessary format changes.

Reunion 9 de febrero de 2013

El día de hoy nos dedicamos a analizar las partes del proposal (Draft) que cada uno hicimos y que partes debemos editar, eliminar, mejorar y que otras cosas podemos añadir de beneficio al proyecto.

Las partes asignadas a trabajar cada miembro del equipo son las mismas ya con las recomendaciones de los profesores. Mañana en la reunión continuaremos editando y mejorando el proposal final

Taller Sobre Diseño

En el día de hoy, el grupo se presento para escuchar y aprender sobre un taller de diseño llevado a cabo por el profesor Ivan Baiges. Donde se discutieron muchos puntos importantes como:

• El significado de diseño.
• El significado de un proyecto.
• Tener bien definido lo que es un "scope", "time", "performance" y "cost".
• Nos hablo sobre el QFD (Quality Function Deployment).
• Y nos hablo sobre el Product Design Specification (PDS).

In the meeting that was taken place today:

• Each member did a part in the power-point.
• We looked for ways to keep the presentation short and to the point.
• We discussed how we were going to present to the public, so that we can keep the presentation for up to 5 minutes.
